Bio
Charles Favreau is currently an Assistant Professor at Duquesne University. His research interests broadly cover investments, and more specifically how behavioral biases can affect the investment decisions of households. Additionally, his research includes the behavior patterns of insiders and the private information revealed by insider trades conditional on those behavioral biases.
Charles received a PhD in Finance from the University of Arizona in 2017, a Masters in Finance from the University of South Florida in 2012, and a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2002. Prior to starting his masters, Charles worked as a Senior Project Manager at Liberty Building Forensics Group and went on to start his own consulting firm, Delphi Building Science. In 2010, he became a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida. In his leisure, Charles enjoys motocross racing, squash, and skiing.
